There were a good amount of fans provided on the back porch, so we spent a good amount of time there too. The little swimming pool is where we spent most of our time if we weren’t in the home. Not quite what we were used to in north GA. One of the “least appealing” things about our trip was the TX heat. The sunsets were STUNNING! I didn’t hear a peep from the neighbors around us (if they were even there?). The fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog.
The property was our favorite part though. The home was clean, tidy, and we felt right at home.
And our little dog too! The homeowners, Bob and Teresa, we’re both VERY accommodating, asking us about the baby and the dog, to make sure the house was set up properly before we arrived. My wife and I (she’s 30, I’m 27), my mom (in her 60’s) and our 15 month old little girl all fit perfectly in this home. It happened to be about 2 hours from our concert venue, but we all decided that was okay, because we thought the listing for the home looked like it might be worth it. We’ve never done VRBO before, so this house was our first. The reason for our trip in the first place was we were going to see Metallica in Arlington. We traveled from North Georgia to stay at this home in Valley Mills.
